While fallen actors Patrick Swayze and Brittany Murphy (and performer Michael Jackson) were honored at the 82nd Academy Awards on Sunday, one name left off the list quickly caused waves: Farrah Fawcett.

Fawcett, who died at 62 from cancer last June, was not part of the “In Memoriam” montage that played while James Taylor performed an acousticversionof My Life. of My Life.  Bea Arthur, who died in April at the age of 86, was also left off.

Academy Awards rep Leslie Unger after the show said, “It is highly unlikely that we forgot about Farrah Fawcett but we unfortunately don’t include everyone each year.” She added: “There are many angles that are looked at as to who to include and unfortunately we don’t include everyone.”

Bruce Davis, the executive director of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, said days before the show that producing the segment is the toughest to do and his committee always has to make some tough cuts.

“It is the single most troubling element  of the Oscar show every year,” he said. “Because more people die each year than can possibly be included in that segment.” His office keeps a running list of those who have passed away since last year’s segments which he and a small committee whittle down from more than 100 names to about 30. “You are dropping people who the public knows. It’s just not comfortable.”

Wow! Octomom Nadya Suleman’s body is slamming! I think she looks amazing. It’s really hard to believe her body looks so good after giving birth to eight last year. Here’s the story;

Octomom, the history-making mother who became the first woman in the world to give birth to eight healthy children, flaunted her new bikini body for a photo shoot.

The 34-year-old Octomom who already had six children in addition to the octoplets droped down 120 pounds from a staggering 270 after her record breaking delivery on January 26, 2009.

Tiger Woods is ”doing something amazing,” according to a tweet fromHip Hop mogul and Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons.

 A follow-up tweet says, “I heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep our prayers high!”  So far the tragic earthquake that hit Haiti has claimed between 45,000 and 50,000 lives, according to some estimates.

If  Russel Simmons tweets are true, it would be similar to the advice Fox Sports and Kansas City Star sportswriter Jason Whitlock dispensed on Twitter last night: “if I’m Tiger, I park a big luxury liner off the coast of Haiti and me and Rachel Uchitel pass out $10 mil in bottled water.”

Uchitel, was the first woman publicly named as one of Woods’ mistresses. The New York night club hostess was called a “celebrity whore”  by an acquaintance, but she reportedly captured Tiger’s heart: he allegedly wrote her an email saying “I finally found someone I connect with.”

In another, more erotic email, Woods reportedly told her about his sex fantasy of  her, Derek Jeter and Bones star David Boreanaz engaged in a steamy threesome. (The email used more colorful language.) Uchitel also reportedly received a payoutof at least $1 million to ensure her silence.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have pledge to help Haiti in the aftermath of the 7.1 earthquake that rocked the island on Monday afternoon.

The Holywood power couple have released the following statement:

“We are devastated by the news from Haiti, We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”

Both stars are noted humanitarians for their respective efforts involving Hurricane Katrina releif, the United Nations and other philanthropic causes.

Brad and Angie donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders for emergency medical operations in Haiti.

The organization is sending a surgical team and an inflatable tent hospital that can hold 100 patients and two operating rooms.

“The first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care,” Pitt said in a statement.
