David Letterman has finally married his girlfriend, Regina Lasko. Letterman announced the news during the Monday taping of his CBS Late Show. 

This is what Letterman had to say:

“On Thursday, at 3 p.m., March 19, 2009, at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana, I was married to Regina Lasko,” Letterman said about 20 minutes into the show, before he read the “Top 10″ list.

“Regina and I began dating in February of 1986, and I said, ‘Well, things are going pretty good, let’s just see what happens in about ten years…’” he continued.

“…I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years, and I — honestly, whether this happened or not — I secretly felt that men who were married admired me…like I was the last of the real gunslingers, you know what I’m saying?’” he joked.

The family’s truck got stuck in the mud en route to the courthouse, he explained. Letterman “walked two miles back to the house in 50 mph wind,” he said. “It’s not Beverly Hills — it’s Montana.

“And the whole way, I’m thinking, ‘See, smart ass, see you try to get married and this is what happens,’” he went on.

After getting his car from home, five-year-old son Harry says, “‘Are we still going into town?’…he got very upset because mom had told him if I wasn’t back in an hour, the deal was off.”

Regina and David began dating in 1986 when Regina worked for him on his show. The couple welcomed their son Harry in November 2003.

In 2007, Letterman told Oprah Winfrey that his son has made a “huge difference” in his life — but the boy doesn’t always get his daddy’s sense of humor.

Said Letterman, “Mommy has to tell him a lot that I’m just teasing.” The funny man was previously married for seven years to his college sweetheart Michelle Cook.

For months rumors have been in the fashion world that Marc and boyfriend Lorenzo Martone were engaged, but WWD.com is now reporting that it’s true!

The couple is going public after dating for almost a year. The plan is to break the news tomorrow after arriving in Lorenzo’s homeland of Brazil, both wearing rings.

In January the designer opened a multi-brand store in Sao Paolo and they are headed there to celebrate.  The 45-year old designer has a lot of reasons to celebrate this week, he was just nominated for the CFDA womenswear designer of the year award.

It’s been a Barbie frenzy! On March 9th, Barbie turned 50 (a fellow Pisces!). 

Mattel has been doing some serious celebrating (or marketing, whatever you want to call it) – with fashion shows showcasing looks from 50 different designers during New York Fashion Week, opening the largest Barbie store in the world in Shanghai, and a celebrity-studded birthday party held on Monday, March 9th in Malibu- at Barbie’s Jonathan Adler decorated dreamhouse no less- are just a few examples.

In Paris the celebration continues with a Barbie & Ken by Karl Lagerfeld exhibit currently going on at Colette in Paris, through March 28, you can stop by and see the Lagerfeld designed windows of Colette, featuring Barbie and “Ken” aka male model Baptiste Giabiconi. Barbie will be wearing non other than Chanel, of course!

GIRLS’ IF IN PARIS DONT MISS IT!

Chris is so desperately looking for a new start, that the latest rumor now flying is that he fired his entire staff, including his Manager, Publicist and Attorney Mark Geragos. Could it be true?

First it’s been out there that the woman who text him the night of Rihanna’s beating was non other than his 40-year-old manager Tina Davis, who denies ever having an affair with Chris and say there relationship has been strictly professional.

Secondly, Chris feels that the whole situation after his domestic dispute was and has been handled poorly by his PR’ Mike Sitrick and he’s blaming his whole team. He had wanted to apologize to the world for Rihanna’s beating much earlier. Saying that the timing of the apology release made him sound insincere. He’s just too unhappy about the way he’s been perceived.  

Could this be true? we’ll see! There is so much that is being said, like…  Chris and Rihanna are back, They’re recording a song together, They’re secretly married, She’s been away from Chris since the Miami meet-up, She’s thinking about maybe taking him back, and so on…

His publicist and team would like a certain story out. Like… Rihanna forgave him and they’re working it out with professional help. Meanwhile, her Publicist and team, thinks taking Chris back is not a move for a good role model, and will only damage her image and career.

The results on the latest T.V. poll competition for the Sexiest Black Woman Alive are in!

Halle Berry has been named the Sexiest Black Woman Alive, beating-out the competition who included;  Alicia Keyes, Tyra Banks, Joy Byrant, Janet Jackson, Kerry Washington, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Rihanna, Gabrielle Union and Iman.

The gorgeous Berry talked about being a mom to her baby girl, saying; “I’m complete. I have more to offer my craft because my daughter makes me indelibly better every day.”

THIS IS SO SAD!

The 27-year-old British “Big Brother” reality star, Jade Goody’s wish is to go home to die. Jade was sent home today March 11th, from Royal Marsden Hospital to be with her husband Jack Tweed, her boys Bobby-Jack, Freddy, the rest of her family and friends.

Jade’s publicist Max Clifford said, “They are going back home. The decision about whether she could leave hospital was going to be made this morning. Obviously, they’ve decided she’s well enough to go. One of the nurses is going with her.”

In a recent interview with OK! magazine Jade spoke about her thoughts on death, Goody said, “I might fall asleep one day and not wake up and that is a scary thing to think about. No one should worry about me, though. I’m in terrible pain, but I am determined to make sure the time I have left is fun with my mates and family.”

Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year in August and it quickly spread to her liver and bowel. After her doctors told her she had only a few months to live, her 21-year-old boyfriend Jack Tweed proposed to her and they were married soon after in a televised ceremony. Jack told the Sun he would be “fighting back tears” on the day. “I love Jade more than anything and this is all we both want,” “It’s going to be the best day of my life” 

It was a gorgeous and emotional ceremony with 200 guests. Her gown was presented by Harrods of London’s boss Mohamed al Fayed. Jade refused to wear a veil. She has sold her wedding pictures to Ok! magazine and the wedding was filmed by living T.V. in order to leave money for her boys.

Last Saturday Jade and her 4 and 5 year old boys were christen in a 20 minute ceremony. She said: “I want them to try and get to know Jesus, because if they get to know Jesus hopefully we’ll be able to keep in touch.

Professor Mike Richards, who’s in charge of the Government’s strategy for tackling cancer in England, said Goody’s experiences with cervical cancer could help save lives if more women came forward for screening.

Nickelodeon stood by Chris Brown even though the 19-year old was charged with two felonies for beating up his girlfriend the “Umbrella” and “Take A Bow” singer Rihanna.  

A Nickelodeon network rep released the following statement: “Like all our KCA nominees, Chris Brown was nominated by kids several months ago based on his work as a performer, and the kids who vote will ultimately decide who wins in the category.” 

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is really working hard on repairing his image and bringing his charges down to misdemeanors. He’s asked Rihanna for forgiveness and she has taken him back. Some reports tell the couple are recording a song together about their mistakes, while rumors are surfacing that they secretly tied the knot at P. Diddy’s home in Star Island.

In continuing to show the world he’s sorry, he’s taken the “Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards” pretty seriously and not only is he not attending, but, he’s pulling his name from the list of nominees!

Brown’s spokesperson said, “Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated.”

The statement continued, “While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”

Jennifer Lopez was spotted at the Bowery Hotel in New York City last night Monday, where she met with her long time manager Benny Medina for diner.

Jenny’s husband singer, Marc Anthony who’s famous for controlling Jennifer and all her business endeavors was no where to be seen at this meeting. Last year Medina got fed up with Marc Anthony trying to control their meetings and business decisions.

It’s about time J-LO is seen sans “Skeletor” perhaps she can still revive her career!

About being a mom with style, Eva had this to say to press;
