The Richland County Sheriff’s office didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute the Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps or anyone else according to People magazine for smoking a bong at a November 2008 frat party.

Here’s what Michael had to say about the news: 

“I’m glad this matter is put to rest. But there are also some important lessons that I’ve learned,” Phelps, 23, said in a statement Monday.

“For me, it’s all about recognizing that I used bad judgment and it’s a mistake I won’t make again. For young people especially – be careful about the decisions you make. One bad decision can really hurt you and the people you care about.”

LESSON LEARNED? 

Rumors were flying over Benji Madden and Katy Perry hooking up over the weekend. So, Katy posted on her her blog yesterday the following to set the record straight:

“Oh kittens! It’s two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other… doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell.

I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy valentines with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25! Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to kitty purry/markus molinari. Hope your vagina day was as FUN as mine.

The “Factory Girl” actress Sienna Miller was spotted earlier today leaving her London apartment and hoping into a cab heading downtown. 

Recently, Sienna opened up in an interview about being judged unfairly by women. It must be for having an affair with a man whose wife had just weeks before given birth to their fourth child, actor and billionaire-to-be Balthazar Getty.

She said, “I’ve been at war, without a doubt. I’ve really experienced the judgment of women in the past year.  We say we want to be equal, but men don’t sit around bi**hing at each other. There’s no sisterhood.”

The couple left the Eleuthra Island in the Bahamas in seperate private jets kissing goodbye, looking rested and happy.

The “He’s Just Not That Into You” actress Drew Barrymore was spotted dinning at Il Sole Italian restaurant in West Hollywood with a mystery man.

Skipping the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in New York city, Drew is very happy and too busy in hollywood.

Look out for Drew, later this year as she starts in (3) new films. “Whip It” with Ellen Page, Everybody’s Fine” with Kate Beckinsale and Robert De Niro and “Greys Gardens” with Jessica Lange.

Victoria Beckham arrived at JFK International Airport to attend New York Fashion Week last night Feb 13th.

According to press, David Beckham had a different type of Valentine’s Day in mind. David wanted his super high profile “fashionista” wife to stay with him in Milan, Italy.  According to a source, “David begged Victoria not to go to New York because he can’t bear the thought of spending Valentine’s Day without her.”

David’s is loving life in Milan and playing tremendously well.  He says he’s feeling more romantic about Victoria than he has in years because he’s really on top of his game. He’s been having top-secret discussions with a number of Italian jewelry designers over the perfect present for Posh & wanted a candlelight romantic dinner just for the two. Well, David… she passed!

Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner welcomed a healthy baby boy into their family last night Feb, 12.

Kevin 54 and Christine 34, named their 8-pound 15-ounce boy “Hayes Logan Costner” a name rumored to be derived from Kevin’s “cowboy character” in an upcoming western movie.

The happy couple whom tied the knot in 2004 are already parents to Cayden Wyatt who was born in May of 2007.  Kevin has three other children from his previous marriage to Cindy Silva.
