The Deal Or No Deal TV host Howie Mandel was hospitalized Monday in his hometown of Toronto with an irregular heartbeat.

 His condition was not believed to be serious, according to his Rep.

“He did not have a heart attack,” adds Kay, refuting reports.

Mandel was reportedly in Toronto shooting scenes for his second foray into real-deal TV, the Candid Camera-inspired Howie Do It, which premiered last week.

Howie Mandel’s mother said she was terrified when her famous Canadian son fainted inside their Toronto hotel room Monday evening.

Evy Mandel said her 53-year-old son, in Toronto taping a new show, collapsed unexpectedly in front of her.

“I saw him and he just fainted. He just went out,” said Mandel, in her 70s. “It was just horrendous. I don’t know what happened.”

Mandel said her son started to come around, but fainted again and then the ambulance was called.

“It was terrifying,” she said.

Mandel said paramedics showed up in minutes and she remembers them putting an oxygen mask over his face as they took him out.

Toronto police said they received the call from the Sheraton Hotel at about 7 p.m.

The Toronto-born comedian was found “conscious and breathing,” by paramedics, said Staff Sgt. Devin Kealy. 

HE’S BEEN ALREADY RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL!

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are making some major post-season plans after getting engaged in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The New England Patriots quarterback, 31, proposed with a diamond solitaire to the Brazilian supermodel, 28, on Friday.

“He asked and she accepted,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. Family and friends were informed over the weekend. An official announcement, as well as preliminary wedding details, are being planned by Bündchen and her closest friends this week.

“The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” the source adds.

First Marriage for Both

While engagement rumors flew – and were denied – before Christmas, the January engagement will mark the first marriage for both.

Bündchen’s agent told PEOPLE, “We don’t comment on our clients’ private lives.”

Though Bündchen had ended her longtime relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2005, Brady was romantically involved when the couple met. Shortly after, he broke off his relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

In August 2007, Moynahan gave birth to Brady’s son, John Edward Thomas.

Brad Pitt is finally speaking out and clearing things up! He’s had enough of the rumors on cheating with Angelina Jolie, while still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Here’s what Brad had to say in the latest issue of W magazine…

“What people don’t understand is that we filmed for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up.  Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t.  I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful.”

He goes on…  “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart.  I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”

He adds… “We still check in with each other.  She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be that. That’s life, man. That’s life.”

Garner has given birth to a baby girl,  a rep for the actress told People. “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl,” the rep said. No other details on the new addition to the Affleck-Garner family were immediately available.

For now we just know the baby was born on Tuesday, January 6th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.  Let’s all cross our fingers that they won’t name this baby “Daisy.” The couple’s first daughter is 3 yrs. old “Violet” who was born in December, 2005.  Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in June, 2005.

As condolences continue to pour forth, the shock of  losing his young son at such an early age has  John Travolta completely heartbroken!

“He never dreamed of this – their relationship was so close,” family attorney Mike Ossi told press. “He always said ‘I’m happy as long as my kids are happy.’ He is heartbroken … To bury your son is the worst thing you can ever do.”

The latest details tell that 16-year-old Jett was found unresponsive by a caretaker at around 10AM on Friday January 2nd with John Travolta then trying desperately to bring his son back to life.

“He didn’t want anything to happen to that boy, and he kept on trying to revive him,” Ossi said. “He did mouth-to-mouth until they had to physically remove John to take Jett to the hospital.”

Another one of John’s lawyers told press, “John did everything in his power to revive his son. John and Jett had a very strong relationship. Words cannot explain how close they were. This will take a lot of time. His life will never be the same again.”

Jett was the only son of the 54-year-old actor and his 46-year-old actress wife, Kelly Preston. An autopsy is scheduled to take place tomorrow Monday.

John Travolta wrote to his fans for the first time since the tragic death of his beloved 16-year-old son Jett.

Jett passed away unexpectedly Friday morning while vacationing in their Bahamas home. It’s beleived that his death was caused from hitting his head on the bathtub following a sizure.  Jett had been diagnosed at the age of 18 months with Kawasaki desease. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine the final cause of death.

John Travolta along his wife Kelly Preston have released a statement through his Web-site today Sunday, January 4th!

“We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered,” the couple wrote, alongside their 8-year-old daughter Ella.

“We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us a hope for a brighter future. With love, John, Kelly, and Ella.”
