KOBE TAKES THE LAKERS TO THE 2008 NBA FINALS!!!

The Los Angeles Lakers erased a 17-point deficit, with Kobe Bryant scoring 17 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter, to beat the San Antonio Spurs by 100-92 and send the defending champs home. Bryant, who shook Los Angeles last May by telling a radio station he wanted to be traded before changing his mind hours later, has been criticised in the past for his selfish approach to the game.
Whether or not those comments have been accurate, he has become the perfect team player for the Lakers this season. The All Star guard, was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the first time this month.
The 2008 NBA Finals will feature the two most storied franchises in league history, as the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers meet. This will mark the 11th time the two teams have squared off with the NBA title on the line, and if history is any indicator, this series should be a classic.
