ON CHATEAU MIRAVAL:

Mayor Michael Latz said that Tom Bove, an American businessman who owns Miraval, recently told him that Jolie and Pitt had agreed to a three-year lease on the property, known for producing high-quality organic wine ”They are people who I hope will live normally here,” he said. “I would think the choice of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie … is tied to the quality of life in Correns.” PROPERTY WAS LEASED NOT PURCHASE!

Pitt and Jolie may be Miraval’s first movie stars in residence, but Miraval has seen its share of rock stars. The estate includes a studio which has hosted the likes of Sting, the Cranberries and Pink Floyd, who recorded tracks for “The Wall” album there.  

ON SECRET WEDDING IN FRANCE:

Latz also rejected speculation about an imminent wedding, and said that under French law they’d need to alert local authorities if they want to officially tie the knot here.

Last night the “Two  and a half Half Men” star, Charlie Sheen married his girlfriend, real estate investor, Brooke Mueller. The ceremony took place in a private estate in Los Angeles in front of 60 of their closest friends & family members.

Charlie 42 & Brooke 30 were engaged last June in Costa Rica. Charlie proposed with a $500.000 custom-designed 11- carat yellow diamond and platinum ring from jeweller Lord Alon Barak. A friend quoted “They’re well matched and incredibly happy.”

Rebecca Gayheart, who introduced the two in 2006 was in attendance, along with Grey Anatomy star Eric Dane, brother Emilio Estevez & his father Martin Sheen. Charlie’s daughters with Denise Richards, 4 - year old Sam and  2 - year old Lola were flower girls.

The newlyweds are expected to attend the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles tonight, an event where they made their first public appearance as a couple 2 years ago.

Charlie & Brook asked that instead of gifts, to please make a donation to the Chrysalis: Changing Lives Through Jobs charity & to Pugs ‘N Pals, a dog rescue. 

Britney & assistant were spotted leaving Bally’s Fitness in Culver City.  Both sporting the same workout outfit, handbag, sunglasses & hairdo.

The Los Angeles Lakers erased a 17-point deficit, with Kobe Bryant scoring 17 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter, to beat the San Antonio Spurs by 100-92 and send the defending champs home.  Bryant, who shook Los Angeles last May by telling a radio station he wanted to be traded before changing his mind hours later, has been criticised in the past for his selfish approach to the game.

Whether or not those comments have been accurate, he has become the perfect team player for the Lakers this season. The All Star guard, was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the first time this month.

The 2008 NBA Finals will feature the two most storied franchises in league history, as the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers meet. This will mark the 11th time the two teams have squared off with the NBA title on the line, and if history is any indicator, this series should be a classic.

Actor Bill Murray’s wife Jennifer Butler Murray 42, a costume designer has claimed the ‘Lost in Translation’ star is a violent alcohol, drug and sex addict in court papers related to the couple’s impending divorce.

The couple have been married since 1997. Jennifer is seeking for sole custody of their four children aged from 7 to 15.

According to the Associated Press, the court papers, written by Butler Murray’s lawyer Robert Rosen, claim that she moved to South Carolina due to the star’s “adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addiction [and] frequent abandonment”.

The papers also allege that Murray would often leave the country without telling his wife to engage in “public and private altercations and sexual liaisons” Gross!!!

ACCORDING TO NEWSDAY:    If the Long Island Expressway had been open early Friday morning, Suffolk County police Officer Douglas Bose would have never driven by the Dix Hills house as a fire raged. “I was in the right place at the right time,” Bose said, standing outside the burned remnants of the Sandra Lane house where he helped Shaniqua Tompkins — ex-girlfriend of rapper 50 cent — their son, and four other people escape the early morning blaze a fire official deemed suspicious.

A 22-year veteran of the police force and a Crime Scene Section officer, Bose, 50, was driving north on Deer Park Avenue after picking up his children from their high school prom in West Islip around 4 a.m. Friday and dropping them off at a friend’s house. Because the expressway was closed for roadwork, he chose an alternate route on Deer Park Avenue on his way home to Selden — a route that took him by Sandra Lane just as the fire was breaking out around 5 a.m. 

“I thought I saw smoke and flames,” Bose said, so he made a U-turn and drove to the house on a hill on the corner of Sandra Lane and Deer Park Avenue. Bose called 911 and told the dispatcher he would try to see if the house was occupied.

“I walked around the back of the house and saw six people climbing out” of a second-story window onto a small eave, about 15 feet above the backyard, he said. He then helped Tompkins, her 11-year-old son Marquise, another woman, and two other children and a teenager navigate their way to the ground, and he grabbed the children’s ankles as they dangled down from the roof.”I helped break their fall, ” Bose said.” One of the girls, I didn’t see what she had in her arms until later. She had a guinea pig in her arms, ” Bose said. “They were scared,” Bose said of the rescued people. “They thanked me. “He added that the girl with the guinea pig high-fived him. Bose said he didn’t know that Tompkins and Marquise were connected to rapper 50 Cent until hours after the rescue.

Tompkins and 50 Cent are embroiled in a legal dispute over the house. Tompkins did not comment Friday on Bose’s assistance, but an arson investigator said she was thankful that her family and friends were safe. “The family is very grateful,”  Suffolk County Arson Squad Commanding Officer Det. Lt. Jim Rooney said, “that the officer was in the area.” 

THIS IS HOW IT WENT DOWN; 50 Cent  whos real name is Curtis Jackson & Shaniqua Tompkins were involved in a legal dispute over the house. 50 Cents, who did not live in the house wanted his ex girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins & their 11 year old son evicted or pay a monthly fee of $4,500.00. Shaniqua Tompkins is claiming that ex boyfriend rapper 50 Cent had bought the house for her & their son to live in. According to Tompkins he had offered to put part or all of the home under her name. Jackson bought the home in January, 2007 for $ 2.4 million dollars.

Tompkis was hysterical over the fire. She shocked everyone! Camera crew, reporters &  neighbors outside the burning home by saying…  She was sure 50 Cent did it! He burned the house! He was obsessed & if he couldn’t have it… she said, no one will!

She went on to saying, that he knew she would end up with the home. She said, she had just given her Deposition & had proof that he had given her the home. 

SO SAD! 50 CENTS WOULD NEVER SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE WITH HIS OWN CHILD IN IT! WOULD HE???

Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers at Heathrow’s newly-opened Terminal 5 last month over lost baggage. Ms. bad temper Campbell was one of the many passengers caught in the chaos at the opening of Heathrow’s Terminal 5. Naomi, 38, was arrested after she boarded a plane for Los Angeles, LAX.

She is said to have assaulted two officers as she was being removed from the aircraft. Yesterday, she was charged with five offences. She is accused of three counts of assaulting a constable, one of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one count of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew. Each of the police assault allegations carries a maximum sentence of six months’ imprisonment. 

The model is due to appear at Uxbridge magistrates’ court on June 20th. As she left the police station yesterday morning, she refused to speak to the media. Her lawyer Simon Nicholls read a statement, saying: “Ms Campbell is bitterly disappointed that the prosecutors have advised her she is to be prosecuted for various offences. She respects that decision and hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously.” The Super Model was the only one arrested out of the 19,000 British Airways passengers whom lost their bags. The chaos started at the opening of Heathrow’s Terminal 5. 

NOT TOO SMART TO GET INTO A SPITTING RAMPAGE ASSAULT!  SHE NOW FACES UP TO 6 MONTH’S IN JAIL!!! 

“The story is true,” Bill Vigars, a Vancouver-based rep for David Foster, told People of the TMZ.com report that Aiken, 29, impregnated David’s sister, music producer Jaymes Foster. “It is true Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay. She’s due in August.” Multiple sources told TMZ.com that Foster, 50, is Aiken’s best friend and he lives at her home when he’s in Los Angeles.

Foster, who produced several Aiken CDs, divorced a few years back and has no kids. TMZ.com says Aiken, 29, will have an active role in raising the child. There was no immediate word from Aiken’s representative. But a rep for Foster told TV’s “The Insider” that “By the way, she looks great, glowing and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time.”

Aiken has consistently avoided questions about his sexuality. “People don’t want to have that type of stuff pushed, people who are living in Omaha or in Charlotte or wherever,” Aiken told “Access Hollywood” last month. “They don’t want stuff like that pushed in their face,” he said. “I don’t think that’s necessary and that’s also not what I’m here for. I mean, I went on ‘Idol’ to be a singer, I went on ‘Idol’ to be an entertainer and that’s what my priority is.

The sexiest man in Hollywood is back on the market.  George Clooney is relieved to be single again! Nooo, it’s not another woman. After almost a year of dating Clooney breaks up with 29 year old Sarah Larson.

Clooney thinks Sarah is so sweet & thats why it was so hard to break up with her. Ouch!!! It’s also being said that they had very little in common. So why were they dating so long???

This is how it went down… George moved out of the house & sent her packing her bags. The former Vegas cocktail waitress & George first met 4 years ago but only started dating last year. Earlier in this year they were involved in a motorcycle accident in his motorbike. She was seen wearing a leg cast & walking in crutches. He had minor scratches & a broken rib. They seemed very happy together & inseparable.
